Default Help with driving

Ok for my first car i boguht myself a 96 gt, 5 spd, this summer i had to put some new tires on it because the ones that came on it were starting to go bald, can't understand y, but newayz, i put 4 eagle f-1's on it, they were awesome in the summer time, but i live about 30 min south of the upper peninsula of michigan, so we get a lot of snow, and it has been 10 below zero the past couple days, well i need some help, these tires suck in the winter and i don't have money to get some winter tires and i can't find an old beater, is there anything i can do to help it handle better? i've heard the tires are extremely stiff when their cold, can i warm them up a little somehow so they grip a little better?

No mater what you do those tires are not going to be any good in the snow, find a way to get some rims and snows beofre you get in an accident and it costs a hell of a lot more. Go to the local bone yard and see if you can get some plain steel wheel with snow on them, around here you'd pay less than $200</P>
