congratulations on leaving the 4cyl fox crowd [8D]

there are very few differences from a 99-04, only major thing really is the transmission difference, and even those, its only which one you get

99-00 is one, and i think the rest are the t-45, maybe the 99-00 is the Tremec 5600???

ive got no idea, dont quote me on that

advertised times are 5.5 -60 and 14.1@99's

however, i must be a bad driver, i pulled a 14.545@99.37 with all the mods below except tires and a 14.086@99.07 with tires

i know most other people can put a stock one in the low to mid 14's

they've been known to hit 13.9 stock. My buddy managed to pull off a 14.1 @ 99 with a 2.4 60' LOL so yeah...

Pre Mid 01 has the t45 and after mid 01 the tremec 3650 was installed. The only other real differenences include apperence stuff.

look at what you just said man

theyve been 'known' to hit a 13.9 stock
and if your friend went 14.1 with a 2.4, that means he could have pulled a 13.3-13.4 with a 2.0

sorry, but i really dont think that happened

what are you talking about. People have run 13.9 with them stock. Is that better? In stock trim i think a 2.0 would be hard to pull off...

uhhh..huh huh huh..you said 'quickie' huh huh huh

The 99-04 mustangs don't change much in the GT line up regarding times and stats. They did do a tranny change and some minor body changes (different spoilers, different rims available, better placement of cup holders later models, and black backgrounds in the headlights vs the chrome).

I don't have any time slips for the V8's so I'll zip my lip on that...

you said he pulled the 14.1 with a 2.4 60' and im saying that a stock GT cant pull that kind of ET with such a lousy 60' thats all, not that a 13.9 isnt possible, but it would require at least a 2.0

well, he did... A 13.9 should be possible with a 2.2 60' if u go by .1 in the 60' = .2 in the 1/4
