My 1994 GT Auto. is a slug off the line but pulls pretty hard up top. It's got a 3.55 gear with flowmasters and thats it. I'm wanting to change the gear out. I was thinking 4.10's but will it still be allright to drive on the street(99.9% of the time). haha, thanks!

 

4.10 in an auto is fine, pretty much the same as 3.73 in a manual. you'll definetly be happy with it.

 

i had an aod w/ 3.73 and 2200 stall converter, and i hated it....still couldn't break the tires loose barely.

4.10's are a MUST in an auto....yes it will be streetable, r's will be about 3k at 75-80

 

Just do it........

I Have 4.10s in m 02 GT and I can break loose with ease. Having a new tranny good for 750hp and tq and a 2800 stall put in her now. 4.10s would be perfect for you and you notice a huge difference-Shane

 

Def. go w/ the 4.10s. They will help a lot.

 

Shame on whoever put 3.55 in an auto. That had to be just about pointless. Good thinking on the 4.10's You will love um.
