Default Playstation in Car

Ok guys,

Im looking for some help here, i just got my 06 stang and I'm putting a screen in it. the deal is I want to put my PS2 in the car, I want to mount it under the glovebox because there is plenty of space down there, and wireless controllers would work great there. But I don't know how to mount it, or what I need to use to do so.

Anyone know what I should use to do this? or setup ideas, etc.???

thanks for the help.

You can use three sticks of Dupont High Velocity gelatin dynamite to put the 06 out of it's misery, and use the insurance money to buy an OMG......Eclipse.But,thats just my opinion.

wha? trying to get 2 furious before u get fast?what u been readin'? first i don't understand all that stuff(t.v's & game consoles) in 2 door cars...especially V8 SPORTS CARS! all ya doing is adding weight, and if u lived where i lived, u asking to get shot...over something so trivial. put that in a SUV or something big with more than 2 doors. that way people can play while you drive, b/c that's why u baught the car right?...to drive it. peace man.

IMO, you should mount the PS2 in the trunk, next to the back seats, where everything would still look clean on the inside. to change games or turn the PS2 on all you would have to do is pull one of the back seats down. wire it just like you would with a stereo. you will need a 12v power converter and i dont know what you will need to connect the output cable to. wireless controllers will still work if the PS2 is in your trunk. just my 2 cents....

Redass Put it best... your just gunna get made fun of.

Why not save the money and put it towards some gears or exhaust or upper intake mods? Some basic stuff to make your car a bit quicker.

If you REALLY want to rice it out (relax im kidding) you can probably make two brackets to hold it using some 1/8x3/4 steel flat stock. Kinda hard to explain what I mean, but use your imagination. you can make a sort of "cage" that the PS2 will slip into. Not much equipment needed, you wouldnt need to weld anything if you want to keep it simple. +1 on the trunk Idea, but If it were ME, Id ditch the screen and PS2 and all that crap and go for performance mods. YEAH BABY YEAH!!!
