I am sorry but to me a really loud, stock (read that as slow) car is kinda ricey, those one chambers would be like putting a fart can a stock Civic IMO.

This WOULD make sense if we were talking about a civic that made NO horsepower in the first place. But we are talking about a car that already does..even if it was stock-Shane

Yea, I own a stock 94 GT and trust me it does not make much power and it is slow, I swear if it went 14.99 I would be shocked. I think the poster should spend his money on parts that will add hp. But thats just IMO

Well..a new exhaust system will kill tons of weight and add a decent amount of horse power for the price. What other mods did you have in mind other than the usual bolt ons?-Shane

If it were me I would do, a GT40 intake, a set of long tubes, gears and a decent set of heads if he has the $$. An off road pipe will not add much power to an otherwise stock car, but your right it will shed about 20 lbs.

I can agree with most of that. Long tubes however are not worth the "bang for the buck" over a cold air, throttle body, plenum(4.6- not sure on 5.0). Your headers are the best of the exhaust for a stock car and being they cost so much to intall it really isnt worth it over other mods. I would bet after taking off the cat back and h-pipe and replacing them you would shave more like 50. Anyone ever do this to see for real?Shane

Headers on a 5.0 are easy to do, you should not have to pay anyone to install them.

The car has shorty headers, off road h-pipe and a f-303 cam besides the 1 chamber mufflers.
