how much do u think itd cost for a automatic-> manual conversion in a 96 GT

if you can do the work your self about 2k its more than just swaping the trans out you will also have to change the computer and find a clutch assembly.

Look up AMP performance in a 5.0 magazine they list the kits that come with everything or so it says. ONE FOR MY CAR WITH A USED T-5 IS AROUND 1200 so itll prob be near 2000 for yours i think but from what i hear its not that hard to do. Im going to be doing it in my 92 GT in a few months.

depends on the quality of parts you want. if its just a stock car, take a run to the junkyard and you can probably get everything for pretty cheap

A local shop here in Albuquerque does the conversion starting at $1450 for a AODE to T45.

Naw I mean i street race my stang a lil shane nothing serious, yet. its just so much more fun with a stick. I had a 73 firebird formula at one time with a manual and i said from then on that id never have another automatic sports car.
