Default supercharger advice

Hey brothers I am now in the market for a supercharger. I was thinking procharger, but for some reason the kenne brown blowzillas are intriguing me.Any opinions or discussion on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

TURBO=MORE POWA

And no, turbo lag is not an issue on many kits when matched for the application and engine size.

Many engines are making full boost by 2500 RPM with twin turbos.

Not looking to spend big $, to me my car is already quick enough for a daily driver. I just want to be able to continue to smash the competition with the car full of family and groceries.

Then why are you looking at superchargers? Turbo kits can be had for reasonable prices and comparable to superchargers (save gas and give more power...who can complain?)

'93 GT? 5.0 Twin turbo's:

4000 for 350

4500 for 500+ RWHP

4000-5500

400~750+ horses

Actually.....http://www.turbomustangs.com/turbo_links.htm

There's a lot there. Turbo may be slightly more expensive to start and a lil more of a pain to install, but dude....the shreiking blow off, spooling turbo, smoked tires, and easy on gas when not mashed more than makes up for it. More effecient by a long shot than a supercharger.

Either way, you're still looking at an expensive proposition.

l'm just wondering but with that kind of money, can't you just buy a built engine that has about 400hp?

Yeah, but what's the fun in that?

You can put very little into the 5.0 and make that kind of power.

Would it be a waste of time and money to put a turbo on a 4 banger?
