Default Lightning Motor!

I found this guy that is selling a motor out of a lightning for $300. He said that he was going to put it into his mustang but he got his hands on a cobra and he just wants to get rid of it. He said that it needed a new intake and about $400-$500 of rebuilding. My Uncle (certified mechanic) are going to take a look at it this weekend to make sure there are no flaws. If not do you think this a steal and a good idea to swap out my stock V-6?

the rebuild is a given but the intake lightenings have superchargers on them thats gonna cost you a little i would also go ahead and toss a set of rods and pistons in. and you will also need a wireing harness and computer that could be done with a gt harness computer with a good tune.

Guys he never said what year it's from, it could be the one from the early 90's WITHOUT the supercharger. Never assume anything.
