Default which heads to use?

i am building an NA carbed 289 in a 64 1/2 coupe. I amnot looking to rev any higher than 6k.
I am going to use a 4spd toploader and 4.1s or 3.7s in probably the 8.8 size. I am not looking for some 700hp motor, just 300-350 whp.

options:

one

bare gt40p cast iron heads
6m9 and 8f18 are stamped one on one head theother on the other and GT40P is on both

two

used 5.0 HO heads
8f8 stamped on both
full valvetrain
third

allegedly the stock 289 heads
5e3 and a 5e4 one on one head the other on the other and 65 on both
full valvetrain

all are cast iron

any suggestions on which to use?

thanks 8D

if i remeber right you have to look at the combustion chamber side of the head and they are above one of the intake runners. its been a while since i looked at a set though.
