<FONT size=2> I have a 94 GT. Complete with the stock 5.0. She has 150000 mile and is getting a little tired. Dont get me wrong she still has her get up and go but i'll need a little time to build my a new motor. I prefer to do it myself and swap it one weekend. Trouble is I dont know ifI should go with a 351 cleveland or a windsor block. I also wonder which motorI can give more bang for my buck. I am not totally stuck on a 351 though....(Im always open to any suggestions) I willmainly use this car for the street butI definatly want to have a decent run, once and awhile at the track.Im pretty sureI would want to definatly break 300 hp.Im ready to get a block and start playing with it. 351W. There is more in the aftermarket for them from the 302. The 351C has different heads and more torque. Suppose to be better, but parts are readily availible for the 351W. Right guys? Correct me if I'm wrong.... I'm actually looking into building a 351W as a replacement for my 302 down the road. find ya a good 302 block buy the dss 331 kit and go from there..find a sweet pair of used 185's and a good intake for starters

You are a fool to not go with a windsor over a cleveland.</P>


If i were you id build that tired 302 if this is a daily driver.There are so many parts and combos its not even funny.</P>

werd...rebuild it as a 331 or 347 and you'll be shocked at the torque

well the 347 will blow buy the ole 351..the reason I don't do the 347 was the oil control but that has beed fixed to a point but the rods as of late have been going because of the lack of piston skit legnth
