I have a 95 automatic gt stock...... I want to do some a few engine and transmission upgrades.... I want to upgrade the transmission to a 4R70W... For the engine i want to go with a 331 stoker kit..... I need to know what other things i need to do with theses upgrades such as what kind of block, heads, and so on.

well we need some numbers the stock block is good upto abotu 400 hp then i would go with a sportsman block up to about 1000 then on to a man-o-war block. again with the heads i would start with a set of gt40 for a mild engine then afr then on to maybe a set of brodix or yates heads.

 

i want go about 300-325 rwhp and near the same in torque

 

well just use the stock block bore and stroke coasthigh.com has a kit you can buy wich has crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, wrist pins, rings, and rod and main bearings. for heads you dont need anything special but personally i like the edelbrock heads
