ok im about ready to pull the motor on my 89 lx but how do u seperate the fuel rail from the fuel line, i pulled off the funny little clips, but i dont see how to seperate the fuel lines. It looks like it is all one piece

there is a tool you can get form the parts store its a round plastic piec that slides in behind the donut looking thing where the line connects. there expensive but thats the only way to do it with out damaging it.

ya i got this from checkers for $12, but i slide it in there u can feel and hear the spring pop but the line wont seperate, i need these damn things off so i can pull the motor

once it is in there just pull hard.


if all else fails pull the fuel rails off the motor and see if you can get them far enough out o fthe way to pulll the motor but i really don't recomend this aproch.

i could do the second way too but im getting a new motor so the fuel rails have to come off eventually
