When i back up I hear the horribly loud squeek noise from under my wheels wells. I dont know what the hell it is, but it ONLY does it when i back up. And on OCCASION when i get out of the car...so i thought maybe suspension? but that cant be it...i have no idea...

I figure whatever it is, it should be covered on my waranty, so i took it to the dealorship and they said something about my tie-rods, but im not sure its my tie-rods if it does it only when im backing up, wheather i turn the wheel or not

 

on my 00 v6 I had the same problem. I had a loose bolt on my caliper causing it.. took me for freakn ever to figure out what it was.

no, its not like a brake squeek...i know what that sounds like...its more like a "something needs to be greased" squeek...

but i WILL check my calipers...

I had the same problem and it was dried out lower control arm bushings.The dealer used a tool called "chassis ears"to find the problem.

 

Yea, i hate having to take it to a dealorship b/c they are dumb and try to rip you off left and right, but since it is still under warranty i guess i will have to go to one.

 

I don't know if it is the same for yours as it is my `98, but mine squeeks when I first start out, even when I'm not applying the brakes. When I RTFM I found out that it is "Normal" for the brakes to squeak when you first start out. Does yours do this only when you first start going? Check your manual for this.
