Default Attaching a pony

First time poster here, and my problem is a very basic one, I'm sure.

I recently bought a 2004 V6, that came to me without the pony on the front grill. I bought a pony off eBay, but for the life of me can't get it affixed.

Every friend I know has recommended crazy glue, but for whatever reason, I can't get it to stick.

Anyone else ever had this problem? Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

There should be 2 screw holes on the top of the pony (bracket) Look behind the grille and you should see 2 holes where the pony will mount to. You may need to remove the grille to find the holes.
