Default Sorry dumb NOOB question

Hey guys im sure it seems like a dumb question but i might be getting my sisters 99 6 cylender mustang, If I could get a hold of a * cylender would it drop right in... or would it need mods? I think they jsut drop in but im not sure

yes, it will drop in, but you will need more mods to that v6 to make it handle that v8. It would just be better to mod the 6 or get a GT.

You can drop in a V6 but I know you will need to beef up the V6 suspension because the V6 and V8 engines differ by about 100 lbs. You can just "drop" it in but I believeyou will need a new tranny and new computer.

by the time your done putting the V-8 in you could have a TT 6 running 11s

the v6 suspention will hold it suprisingly well but by the time you get done droping a stock 4.6l in you would have made more hp buy spending the money and building the 3.8l.
