Default Bastardized the Stang

Yes I made the move, I bastardized my Stang. These are not great pix; it does look better in person. At least I'll know which car is mine at the Yellow Mustang convention next month in Nashville

Yes, they are decals. Went to a local decal shop and had all of the decals custom made. You can buy kits online that are similar, but it would cost over 200 just for the decals. I got a great deal at 130 installed. Took about 3 hours with 3 people working on it. Yes the side stripes are not like the standard set up on some V6's. I did not want anything written there. We made the stripe fit the edge of the lower rocker pannel. I'm surprised that many of you don't like that part. I like the rocker pannel stripes better than the shelby stripes. The pic is bad; you can't really see how the tint matches the side stripes.

I like the decals but i think the racing stripes should of been a little bit wider they seem to thin for my liking...but hey it looks sweet either way..

Problem with wider stripes is the size of the hood scoop and the curve of the hood. If you make them wider, the stipes will have to go over the curve on the hood in front of the scoop; the result are a set of stripes that may not look straight. In this way the 94-98 stangs have the advantage- they don't have the darn curves or hood scoop problem. In fact, it took me a while to figure out how to get the best of both worlds. Thanks to photoshop and a few hours work on the computer I found a good compromise before I rushed into it. Got to love digial cameras. I likes the yellow mustang on the window also, it matches the font on the dash.

Don't care for the stripes on top, but I like the side ones.
