MONDAY I WENT SEARCHING FOR A WELDER(PERSON) TO DO MY SUBFRAME CONNECTORS. HE TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE THE SEATS AND CARPET TO PREVENT HEAT CATCHING THE INTERIOR ON FIRE. THEN HE TOLD ME IT WOULD COST 400.00 TO 500.00 TO DO THE JOB. ANYONE SEE A PROBLEM W/THIS!

 

yes that is rediculous...go somewhere else. any muffler shop/welding shop will weld them on, you don't have to go to a performace shop

 

SO WHAT SHOULD I PAY FOR A GOOD JOB?(BALLPARK FIGURE.)

 

$100 - $150....if that much.

 

yeah 400 is a littel steep and i ahve seen it done with the carpet in and no problems.

i would expect to pay about 100$ for a job like that, its not goin to take much more then that

 

I was told 200 for making and installing subframe connectors

 

$100 is the most you should pay anywhere

 

$50-$100

it is a 20 minute job tops

try a muffler shop , and tell them you don't need a reciept...that way the guy who does it will just keep the cash.
