Default rear go boom

I just bought a new diff and gearset about 3 weeks ago. It snapped the caps that hold the differential down. Has anyone ever heard of this? The diff was a locker, which I think did it, 4.11's and I just put M/T drags on about a week before it broke. Does anyone know of any companys that have good prices (on good parts of course) for a complete center section with a limited slip, as well as 31 spline axles? I figure I might as well upgrade to 31's now before the axles break and im stuck with 28's. My car is proof that a massive 180 HP is expensive.

Default RE: rear go boom

sounds to me like either the install was botched or you had a bad part form the factory.
