Default S&B filters

I just got one of these cold air intake kits, and it sucks. Not all the parts were there in the box they give youy the wrongs size bolts. there is no hole for the air temp sensor. Im sure after i get it out of the car and modify it it will be a nice kit but I am very unhappy with the product out of the box

Where did you buy it? Is it just an online store or do they have a store front? I would contact them and tell them how displeased you are about the product. See if you can get your money back. If they dont help then call the BBB and the BAR, the BAR loves to mess with people that put out faulty or missleading products.

I only paid $15 bux for my brand new MAC CAI so the deals are out there, the generic CAI's are usually crappy.

Good luck on that.

i work for a parts company and i got a great deal on it. After i worked on it it is a really good kit. just wasnt what it was supposed to be out of the box. Im going to call the rep for the company on monday and see what they think and tell them how to make it better. Nicee thing about working for a parts store we can get stuff and try them out then let them know. ill let the rest of you know what they say.

well i called sb filters today and got ahold a real person right away. she took my info and is sending a new box and all the other pieces i need to finish it. Even though i already did. Then she transfered me to the guy that actually designs these and we had a discussion about what did and didnt work. He took abunch of info is going to redesign it and send a completely new kit to me in 2 weeks and then give me a call back and see what i think. He said it was there first complaint since they started building these kits. All in all after i took this into the shop and finished the work on it. it really is a good kit. Ill post some pics when the wonderful michigan weather lets me.
