How hard is it to install a torque convertor and if you do bring it to somebody, how much will the charge approx?

 

Not hard to do at all. You just remove the tranny and unbolt tho old one from the flex plate. Then fill it with new fluid, and install it. BUT, you need to match up the keyway. Then reinstall the tranny, and top off the tranny fluid.
Not sure what a shop would charge.

 

Have to Rand R the transmission. Around here $200-$350 depending on the shop.
