Don't take your foot off the gas while shifting gears....it's great for your tranny!!!!

 

dont do it....a T5 is a time bomb as it is.

 

don't be a wuss go for it..practice the 1-2 shift first

But with more of a built tranny it shouldnt be as big of a problem though right??

 

lol....well all i gotta say is ive done the power shift, speed shift, i wouldnt recommend doing it every time you get behind the wheel....and yes the crappy t5 is a ticking time bomb....i just hope and pray that mine lasts until i swap it out with a better tremec....jenna

powershifting takes its tolls on any tranny....3550 tremecs are known for blowing 3rd when powershifting.</P>

 

cool and how would you get a gt to 200 mph as your skerrrd!..if you knew what I was talking about that's why I said try 1-2 much easier....the boy wants to learn how the drive..nothing wroug with that........I bet your one of those who take you car in to have let's say an air filter change and you get a flat on the way home you call the shop and blame them so they will fix it free..just a hunch<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">
