I posted this before, If they look the Cobra on radials it would be kissing the Z06's tail! This is a good thread for 2000GT4.6 who argued with me about Z06's reaching 12.2's. <IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0">

I don't like the feel of the ride, or driving a vette for any length of time personally. Its kinda like setting down on a skateboard and rolling off a big hill.. Its that rough, not that they are made for comfort though..

I totally agree with you Redneck, i have ridden in one, it was a friends brother who thought that by taking me for a ride, i would change my mind about them... well, it only strengthened my dislike of them. The ride is like you said, and i was also paying attention to the feel of the build quality and it felt very cheap to me, well compared to a few 03 Cobra's and newer modded Stangs i've ridden in. Let's just say that i now wonder even more than before...why in the world are these cars so expensive??? There seemed to be less quality than most regular cars, and they cost about twice as much??? Will never understand i guess! Sorry, but i personally wouldn't buy one unless it was at least HALF the going price! Of course, then i would trade it in on a Cobra anyway! <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

I've owned a C5, it cost twice as much as a Stang and it's twice the car. Stangs are rubber bands compared to the C5. The chassis is far superior on the C5; even with a more powerful cobra, on the track the difference would really show up. Don't get me wrong I love stangs, but the vette is one hell of a car; you can't knock it.

True enough the 'Vette may not ride as nicely as the Mustang, but if you saw the cars at my house, you'd know ride quality isn't a priority for me. Corvettes haul *** in a major way, and the technology is just awesome. I mean come on, a HUD in a car? That's just cool. <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

USAMuscle, it killed me to sell my fully loaded C5. The HUD was so cool. Unlike most people around here,I don't hate Chev or Dodge because I own Ford. I've owned and loved all three. Now rice burners that is a different story<IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0">.</P>
