Default Service engine light

I had the code checked and it says there is a leak in the evaporative emission. What does this mean

check your filler neck maybe? or your charcol canister. thats part of your evaperitve system. maybe its clogged. have youve had bad gas mileage?

im not really sure. all i know is that its part of your fuel sysem. try takin it to ford and see what they say.

Like I said in the V6 forum, it's most likely your gas cap. The rubber seal does degrade.
