Default Rear shocks

Was up? I have a '95 GT with eibach lowering springs, and i need new shocks in the rear( i think, i keep hearing a thunk noise on even small bumps). Since my car is lowered do i need to find any special shocks for better performance to match the springs or will any do. and whether i do or not, can anyone recommend any specific brand? I am on a moderate budget so i was gonna go with edelbrock or Bilstein performance shocks b/c i can get both from autozone. I wasn't really gonna get to technical and get anyhting that is adjustable, i just want a good balance of comfort and performance, mostly performance. So, i am open to any ideas and suggestions if anyone has any. thanks.

I picked up a set of fox body shocks/struts made by Tokico which were not all that expensive. The fox body shocks fit well with sn95's lowered..... its the cheapest way to do it and works great for me.
