RE: Need to know if its true!!
if you wanna gain/save hp via your electrical system, convert the electrical system to 24 or 48 volts. higher voltage means lower amperage, and lower amperage means smaller wire required to keep from overheating. which all in all, smaller wire, less weight, boom weight reduction. it may sound crazy and may not be really worth it, but its been proven and many pro racers do it... but i wouldnt unless you know what youre doing.

what you said is true you would get less heat loss in the electrial system you would also be able to run smaller gauger wire making it lighter but P=P no mater what its gonna take the same hp from the engine to make that same power.
btw if any one is thinking about it don't it would cost you so much more to set everything up than ist worth.

The only way youll feel any power is if your grounds are in horrible condition to start with, and your car isnt getting the power it needs to the ignitions system. Save the money, buy a little bit of dilectric grease, find every ground, clean it up with some sand paper, put a dab of grease on it, and be done.

if thats true ^^ how or what do you need to convert to 24 or 48 volts?

all in all its a lot of work, and unless youre gonna have it professionally done, its not worth it.
