I know 94-95 cobras are rated at 240hp but i am curious what is all different between the cobra and the gt. The 96-98 cobras i know are a hand built aluminum 305hp 4.6 but i was wondering how reliable they are, and how many miles they usually last for. I was also curious to know the price range for one.

 

cobra is 4v... gt is 2v..

As far as prices goes, I paid 9,000 for my 94 cobra with 74K miles, and I LOVE the car, its quite a bit faster then my buddies 95 GT

i know the basics on the 96-98 cobra, but i was wondering about the reliability of them, and how many miles the motor in them usually lasts.

 

mine has 90 and i am about to start spraying her. My car runs just as good as my moms 02 GT, but mine is a lot faster.

 

120k+ on my odo and its still putting down good numbers on the dyno and running strong. You can get loads of miles out of a well taken care of 4.6, weather its a cobra or a gt.
