oh, back to one of the questions. how much lighter is the aluminum block than the iron?</P>


is it worth the cost? (double the price...)</P>

Mine is 3077lbs.... There are rear seat deletes for our stangs Fox bodys and all and they look pretty nice too.</P>


There are4 body peices that you can change out for Carbon Fiber.</P>


1.) Hood
2.) Trunk Lid
3.) RH Front Quarter
4.) LF Front Quarter</P>


I dont know how much you are saving but its alot when compaired to Carbon or Fiber Glass. Then changing out your windows for the lightweight stuff will also cut lotsa weight. After that it starts getting hard to remove weight, from there on your pretty muchsacrafising luxury and reliability/safty from this point.</P>

i agree,safety first so what if a civic weighs 1000lbs less.i'll get on a diet before sacrificing structure...since i'm a fat a$$.

So yes, now you know why people do swaps into CRXs...the earlier models started out less than a ton...sub 2000 pound cars and 500 hp can do a s**t load of damage at the race track. <IMG src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0">

hrm, well i didnt wanna go THAT far as into Carbon Fiber goes...</P>


i DO however have a Fibererglass hood</P>


screwit ill just get the HP first then do that after</P>

i hear its just a little bit heavier but costs much less than carbon</P>


plus u cant paint over carbon fiber can you?</P>
