Default Suspension Suggestio

I own an '88 5.0 and the motor is strong and everything runs well but the ride is rough. I wanna do suspension work, but don't know where to start. What would you guys recommend for suspension to get better handling for the money? Let me know thanks. The car is a hatchack.<edited><editID>Disgustang</editID><editDate>38026.6925</editDate></edited>
