Im looking at a set of 18x9/18x10 wheels and am wondering what size tires some have on their mustangs and what is recommended. I was thinking 245/40/18 front and 275/40/18 rear.

I ordered 18x9 wheels for the front, and 18x10 for the rear. The fronts have 265/35-18 tires on em, the rears have 295/35-18. That's the largest size for the rear wheel (you can fit a 315 width tire on a 10.5in wheel), I know... as for the front I think it is a little under the largest.

They're mounted and balanced and just sitting in my garage right now. I haven't put them on yet because there's so much snow out right now I wouldn't be able to go for a drive with them anyway. I don't expect any rubbing... looks like it will be a good fit.

 

It is a 2002 GT and Im actually looking at the same wheels you have on yours on your signature(Bullit Chrome in deep dish).
