Default extreme idle

I recently baught a 1995 mustang convertable with a 3.8 V6, it is idling at about 2100 and no codes are showing up when tested, does any one have any ideas? Thank you

sounds like you have one of two things. Either A a huge vacuum leak (which would probably set a code) Or your Idle air control valve is sticking. It is very close to or on the throttle body. Try tapping on it with a screw driver, and if that doesn't help try taking it off, apart, clean it and put it back on. I've heard a lot about these having idle issues due to the IAC.
