if you go any more than 2 you will need c/c plates, fyi. there are many companies out there that sell springs. i say get whichever gives you the right stance and the best price. if it is close to eibachs in price, then get the eibachs because they are definatley a great product.

I agree not to go any lower than that. You will get into bumpsteer and chamber problems if you do. Try to get a spring that doesn’t have a high spring rate, otherwise you'll regret it.

I agree. Especially if you frive on the street regularly. Springs that are 2 inches and really stiff are hard to deal with; trust me, I've been there. Eibachs and Steedas will give you the stance and performance you're looking for.

Default 1973 Suspension..

Fairly new to building mustang for strip. Question: What size/type of springs and shocks should I use for optimum performance on strip. Not worried about driveability or street use.

Facts: 1973 Mach I 351C approx 375hp to flywheel, 260-280hp to rearwheel, only interior remaining are seats (dash, carpet, insulation, backseats, all plastic panels..gone), cheap slapper bars in place on rear leafs, 9 in. rearend 370 gears, 14 inch wheels front and back, C-6 with 2500 stall, 750 holley, ported 2vheads, alum roller rockers, new kb flat-top, new cam, ... motor built to 2,500-6,000 RPM.

Probably more info than required, Thanks, Seth
