Default Top speed in each gear with 4.10s in a manual?

I know we're all getting a little tired of the gear posts but could anyone tell us what is your top mph in each gear (except for 4th and 5th unless one of you really wants to run it out) with 4.10s in a manual? I have 4.10s and they're going in this spring but I'm just looking for a little more info, pleeeeease. If you post a reply, you could just cut and paste this following section if you like (just trying to make it a little easier on anyone who can help).

Gear Top Speed
1st mph
2nd mph
3rd mph
4th rpm @ whatever top speed you hit in 3rd
5th rpm @ whatever top speed you hit in 3rd

Most important thing to me is that the top speed in 1st 2nd and 3rd is.

In the 1/4, I'm going 102 in 3rd at the big end. I'm assuming that 4.10s are going to add the 3 to 4 shift before I get to the lights. Can anyone verify that?

Thank you in advance, if you choose to reply!!!

ok, that little section I said about cutting and pasting didn't come out right at all. All of the spaces I put in went away, sorry.

I honestly couldn't tell ya. I have never really paid attention. I know I run 80 at 2800 on the highway. Seems like I usually pull to 80+ in third when pushing the rpm's, but can also say from 80, a drop to fourth provides a strong pull to over 110+ as the hopped up Cobra saw last night.. LOL.... Guess I need to watch the speedo some time.

1st is 34 mph
2nd is 57 mph
3rd is 87 mph

4th is (guessing here) about 4500 rpms at 87ish mph
5th is about 3200 rpms at 87ish mph

Thank you very much FREAKO. That's a pretty big difference. Definitely will have to hit 4th in the quarter. Probably have to grab third when auto crossing. I liked being able to run it up in 2nd just before jumping on the brakes then setting the car into a corner. ANYWAY. I'm going to check the same thing with my car (stock) as soon as I get it out of the garage this year. I'll let you know what I get for comparison.

I have 4.30s, and i take it to about 6300rpm, so what i notice from experience:

1st: ~32
2nd: ~61
3rd: ~95
4th: ~122
5th: (should go >170, but ive only taken it to 158)

with 4.10, add about 5% to those speeds

rpm diff between 3.73 and 4.10 = 200 rpm
4.30 and 4.10 = 200 rpm
4.56 and 4.30 = 200 rpm

Default Topping out way to early with new 4:10 gears

Does anyone know why my 2007 Mustang GT is topping out in 2nd gear at 40mph, 3rd gear at 60mph and 4th gear at 80mph???
I have an sct tuner and recently switched to 4:10 gears (also changed the gear ratio on the tuner to 4;10) from 3.5 also have a cold air intake but the problem started after installing the 4:10's
My previous 08 Gt would easily do 75mph in 3rd and up to 90mph in 4th
How do I correct this?
Thanks

I don't know what's going on in your car but with 3.55 axle gears, 255/45R18 tires (770revs/mile), and a 6500rpm rev limiter, mine tops out at 42mph in 1st, 71mph in 2nd, 108mph in 3rd, and 143mph in 4th. I haven't tried a top speed run in 5th.

A set of 4.10 axle gears will reduce the top speed in each rev limited gear (1st to 4th) by 13.5% if you have 3.55s, and by 19.3% if you have 3.31s.
