Default Ordered Gauges

Yep. They'll be here tomorrow.

I ordered a full-pillar gauge pod (2 gauge pods) and two Autometer Phantom IIs to go with them.

The Gauges are Trans Temp (Elec) and A/Fuel (Elec)

Any advice on install?

Install tip: If the A/F is not wideband, don't waste your time - they are junk.

+1 I ordered a regular narrowband Autometer one and returned it so I could order a wideband unit. I've seen the narrowbands in action recently, believe me.........they are USELESS.

Yeah, I'm eventually gonna replace it with another gauge. Its just that my local perf shop could get the narrowband for $60 and I needed to fill the extra hole.

So where's the best place to have the exhaust shop weld in a bung for the wide-band 02 sensor?

In case anybody is interested, AutoMeter has their new wide-band gauge kit coming out at the end of April. It includes a Bosch wide-band O2 sensor and the gauge comes in many of their different styles (Ultra-Lite, Cobalt, Nexus, etc.) I've got one on order to replace my mostly useless narrow A/F gauge.

Jeg's has the gauges listed here.

Ordered my Cobalt wideband two weeks ago from Jeg's. Didn't realize they weren't coming out until next month.[&:] That kinda sucks. Oh well, I'll just have to wait it out like everyone else.
