Default Saleen Kit Question

I really like the look of the Saleen kit for our cars but don't want to do the centered exhaust. Is there anyway to do the kit but keep the pipes where they are? Would a different rear fascia look OK with the rest of the Saleen kit? Thanks guys.

You would have to cut off your GT tips, and have some turn down tips installed. Or if you are really nuts, you could cut out around the tips on your newly purchased Saleen Kit [&:] But IMO the area in the center would look naked without the exhaust tips.

Why don't you want the center exhaust? Is it preference or money?

Oh yeah - since you are customizing a GT, there's no rule that says you can't mix & match. I'm sure a Saleen front and skirts would match up pretty well with a Roush rear as an example.

+1 (except roush idea) - I like your line of thought but I don't think the roush rear fascia would look good with saleen compononents because of the GIANT R.O.U.S.H. letters emblazened acrossed it. I agree with him too, the rear fascia and centered exhaust is my only complaint about the saleen so I think a saleen kit with a different rear fascia would be very cool. Just go for one that's not brand specific (meaning everyone can instantly tell what kit it's from) maybe cervinis or ????? There are lots out there.

I love the grille and at one time was thinking of the Saleen front fascia kit; I did find a place that was selling it for $699 I believe (full kit, fascia, grill, lights) and I think the shipping was free. I can search again for anyone interested . (Dealer quoted me $1000 plus our 5% sales tax)

I will look it up tonight or tomorrow; (when I'm home); now this was front fascia kit only. It's possible it was $799 not $699 but I'll confirm for ya; It was so cheap that I had a hard time spending $225 on CDC chin spoiler when I could have grabbed the whole Saleen front for not a whole lot more. The reason I decided against it was that I didn't quite want the more elaborate lower fascia (than OEM) and the little lights just seem a bit weird to me still. ..but yeah I figured I'd trim the Saleen badge out of the grill and have the grill I've been waiting for. I'll get back to you no later than tomorrow. ...Jim

Can't tell you about the shipping but this is a lot better than the dealer who quoted me $1000; I'll still keep looking for the $699 deal which I think was a co. on EBay but didn't see it tonight.
