Default X-CAL 2 question

Ok, so I went in to get my oil changed at the dealership so I set my tune back to stock. When I get my car back I pull over and set it back to my 93 octane tune. But, when I get on it I notice I hit the rev limiter way too early. Ok... so I bump it up to 6500 and I still keep hitting it before I should. Like at the stock 6250 or whatever it is. I even bumped both limiters, drive and neutral to 6500 and it is still hitting it wayyyy toooo early.

The car runs great but I don't understand what is going on...

Any advice would be much appreciated!!

thanks

Maybe they reflashed your computer, and the SCT isn't working now.

I doubt that because it is running like it should on the 93 tune.

It might not have "taken" that part of the tune. I have heard of that happening with other stuff in tunes. I say, it's a computer, so treat it like one. reload the tune and see if it still happens. You might want to post on the SCT forums at their website, too. They're pretty helpful.

So you are retuning back to stock when going in for an oil change? I have a CAI and tune but won't going back to stock maybe throw a code? I'm just curious. I have about 500 miles before I take it back to the dealer to get an oil change but I wasn't going to reprogram first. Just curious. The dealer I bought from has a pretty good performance shop and they install CAI's etc so I didn't think they would really care.
