Lowered my GT with Eibach Pro-lines and Tokico D-spec shocks/struts. Added an adjustable panhard rod due to axle misplacement. Centered axle.etc. But rear of car is uneven. One side is 1" higher, despite some double checking and driving to "settle" things. Moved axle via panhard to one side, checked, no movement on height difference. Then to other,etc. Still same.
Any suggestions from anyone who has hit this problem?

 

the spring isnt set properly.. theres a groove where hte end of the spring sits in.. if its not in that groove theoretically it should sit an inch higher

 

and im willing to bet thats why your axle was not centered.. on some cases yes it needs to be adjusted via ADJ panhard bar... but most dont.. actualy like 95% of them dont..

 

I appreciate the input and when it gets back from the body shop I'll check it.
Went to work today and got a call from the wife. While leaving for work, she backed my blazer (ex-military,the heavy 3/4 diesel type) right into my mustang (I took the pickup to work) . Then she paniced, and mashed the throttle rather than the brake . Smeared the whole side of my Stang . Bad. Can't even open the driver's door. Front fender into the tire,too.
Sigh...
Now trying to find a reputable shop in my area..not finding much..

This is an ideal time to get lots of mods. After all she's feeling guilty.

 

Trust me, that crossed my mind!
She's offered to pay the deductible (500). Oh boy, how nice! But the blazer doesn't have collision, and that's smeared down one side. Mustang's door, mirror and front quarterpanel are done for(all driver's side).Her car's in the shop for a cracked head. And my insurance company didn't know about her (seperate policy on her car due to her being a new driver, only 6 months with a license). They know now, and aren't happy. (Today is the 13th, isn't it? )
Right now, she's all quiet and nice, getting (and pouring) beers,etc. Give it a month and it'll all be my fault!
The married guys know what I am talking about...
