Default gears

I have a gt automatic and am contemplating new gears. Should I go with 3.73 or 4.10. I never go top end, but i do have fun from 0-90. Will there be a noticeable difference in "set you back in your seat" with the 4.10's. My only mod now is 20" saleen wheels and a CAI.

You definitely want the 4.10s and yes, you should notice a difference with those.

top END - the power in the upper RPM range
top SPEED - how fast your car goes

I think you should go with the 4.10s (go with Ford Racing, no other manufacturer), I'm getting those installed on my automatic pretty soon (the brown truck is delivering them tomorrow).

I've said this many many times, for an automatic, go with 3.73s. An auto with 3.73s is actually geared better then a standard with 4.10s. 4.10s on an auto won't do much except waste gas.

So the 3.73 would make enough of difference to actually feel the difference. Numbers and times do not matter too much to me because there is no track where I am, but the powerful feel is what matters. Any suggestions.

I got 3.73 and feel the difference. And dont worry, your speedometere will still venture into that uncharted territory past 145

The auto has a lower ration in first gear making the 4.10 gears somewhat too much. It has a lower first gear than the manual.
My 1st gear is very short and i have 3.73 - Would not want the 4.10 gear with blower in this car.

I have the Auto and I got the 4.10 an love them
Auto 4.10 N/A
Auto 3.73 w/Blower

Manual 4.10 - 4.30 N/A
Manual 3.73 - 4.10 w/Blower

V-6 would not go above 3.73
