theyre all pretty much a waste of money. just get a reliable brand if you have your heart set on getting one. but seriously...better off spending your money on something else.

actually, a good CAI and SCT tuner will net almost 30RWHP on an 05+ GT. those cars respond a lot better to mods than pre-05.

i don't know for sure which one would be the best to get, but the JLT one looks hot. this is more of an 05+ mustang specific than a pipes boost & juice. i'll send it their way. them fellers have done their homework on them.

Yeah, an intake will definitely help alot along with a tuner. Steeda: has the largest filter and uses stick tubing, JLT: most rwhp gains, C&L: great overall package, any of those along with either the predator or sct will get you anywhere from 20-30rwhp.

btw, search intakes, there are alot of other threads

Waste of money my ***. I noticed a big difference right away. And the sound is awesome. Just make sure you get a tune to go with your cold air intake. These 05 and 06 Mustang GT's need a tune, because of their sophisticated computers.

ditto - the difference was noticeable right away.

some people have said that a good custom tune will do the same, but i'm not so sure about that. my C&L setup makes the car sound more agressive, and you can really feel the increased power. i'd say if you have the cash, it's probably one of the easiest, best mods you can do for the money.

bottom line - i'm happy with mine, and it makes a noticeable difference, both in driving and in the sound. my tune (from evolution) also got rid of that nasty throttle lag. my suggestion...go with the C&L setup from Fred @ Evolution. he's listed on the forums here. he's helpful, and i found that everything he told me about my particular setup was true...so he won't BS you just to sell some parts. that was my experience anyway.

K&N Aircharger. No tune needed and no trouble codes.

Thats crazy! I did a C&L with SCT X-Cal II from Brenspeed and the seat of the pants feel is a huge difference. I agree with a previous post as the easiest mod to do.
