I'm looking at Macs or the Ford Racing type Borlas. Can I have some opinions please?

Mac's have the same quality or better and are about 300 dollars cheaper. Mac's f-ing rock too.

 

I can get them for $319 delivered, so I'm going for it.. [8D]

 

They sound about the same but the borlas are just louder. Whatever you buy just make sure it wont rust a year down the line.

 

+1 on that. I really lean toward stainless. As Mr. Spock would say it would seem "illogical" to spend good money to replace your stainless muffs w/ an inferior material.

They are stainless with a life time warranty.

 

The MAC's have a lower pitch sound and the polished finish looks good too.

Watch that video, its a comparison of my Stock Mufflers to My Mac Axle Backs. BIG IMPROVMENT IMO. I highly recommend them

thats the first time ive heard the mac's thanks for the post. your mustang sounds mean. i might just have to pony up for a set.

 

Yea I REALLY like them, they made it growl a bit more .....


I have finnaly decided to break down and order a KB supercharger. I ahve read a bunch of horry stories but I think they all happen in circumstances that I am not going to be in. I am getting the 5-6psi non intercooled kit for right now, and going to upgrade to the intercooler when i buy a shortblock sometime this winter....
