std trans upgrades?

Default std trans upgrades?

anyone broken there manual trans yet? what did you upgrade to? does anyone know of a place to buy replacement parts of our std transmissions yet? whether they are stock or upgraded... i destroyed my 2nd gear synchro in ocean city maryland for the rod run last weekend racing an '03 cobra. i havent pulled it out yet but im having trouble locating parts and information on our trans. i have rebuilt manual transmissions before i just need soem help finding the parts... im gonna be looking for something that will stand up to at least 11.00s in the 1/4 on stickies. guess i have a good excuse to put a stage 3 clutch in now. well thanks in advance for your help. im out of comission for awhile...

From what I understand they're fairly durable up to 500 RWHP. I read in an article that Justin Burcham of JPC racing that he ran his stock tranny to 10s before it finally threw in the flag. But I'm sure someone who actually hits the track more than once a twice a year will give you better insight than I can.
