How much HP can the stock Tranny and Rear handle?

More than the engine can handle from what I have read here.

I would advise you not to go past 400HP at the wheels and you should be ok.

400-to 450 more because of what the engine will hold.

The transmission is rated by Tremec to handle about 380 ft-lb of torque max.

Of course, that's not a "hard and fast rule". If you put more torque through it, it's lifetime will be diminished, but it's not as if it will suddenly blow up if you send it 400 ft-lb.

The only story I've heard about someone blowing up the tranny was a guy who was running 10's on it and destroyed it at the strip.
