Hi all new to the board. Trying to find out how many 05 sonic blue mustangs were made in 05? Believe me I have been searching. I own a sonic blue coupe 5spd with medium parchment interior. Also how can I tell when it came off the production line? through the vin maybe? Any help would be great, as again I can't find this info anywhere. Mark... I realize sonic blue was dropped after 05.

 

I can't believe ford has no production numbers out that anyone can find.

Mark Charlie - There was a guy on the boards who would look up your born on dates for you but I think he's gone. I do know that when you take your car in for service, your service invoice will have the manufactured date printed on it somewhere. That's how I found out that my Sonic Blue GT was born on 07/22/05!

 

Here is data I had from a spreadsheet I picked up on a forum:

Spreadsheet has GT vs. V6, interior colors, etc. Not sure how I could attach the original.

If you look at "timeline" at the top of this page, there are production #'s for all MUSTANGS by year. However, '05 numbers are approximate. Lot's a luck trying to find #'s by color. FORD knows this, but, you probably won't get that from them.
I'd love to see the breakdown myself by............

6's deluxe / premium
GTs " "
verts " "
colors / interior
etc...

Would be very interesting,....... and cool to say "there are only 700 cars exactly like mine in the country"
