what the diff between the recular lca's or rod ends..

bmr has rear lca's with poly bush,

Get the one with the Poly Bushings if your car is driven daily. The ones with the Spheircal ends will be noisy.

Rod ends are stiffer than the Poly bushings. The downside, like GT4RAD said is that the rod ends give a harsher ride and will transfer more road noise into your car.

So, the heirarchy goes like this:

Stiff: poly-poly (street use)
Stiffer: poly-rodend (compromise)
Stiffest: rodend-rodend (race only)

If you are lowering your car, consider adjustable control arms so you can get your pinion angle right.

BMR and Spohn both make adjustable LCAs. They cost a little more than the non-adjustable versions.

You can get them directly from those companies, or from many aftermarket dealers. Look at the forum sponsor list. LMP Performance carries both.

I know this is an old thread but I figured I'd post my ? here. I bought the Spohn adjustable LCAs with the poly bushings. They seem awful noisy. My car sounds like a rent-a-wreck creeking and what not at low speeds. Any way to get rid of this noise? I'm ready to switch back to the stocks ones.

Also, what is the correct pinion angle? I put the LCAs on myself, but don't know what or how to adjust the angle.

Thanks!

Just to let you guys know if you're thinking of going the BMR route we still have a 5% off special going on.. Just put in coupon code: LETHALBMR at checkout and the 5% will be deducted from the order. If you want to call the order in thats not a problem just mention the discount and you'll still get it over the phone..

In regards to the Steeda stuff we have all their stuff in stock and if you're looking to go that route call us and we'll be glad to give you a quote on whatever you're looking for.

We look forward to assisting you. Thanks, Jared
