C&L Intake Installation?
Did you guy's use the MAF Housing Mounting Bracket? Doesn't seem to fit very well, and sounds like it is optional.

RE: C&L Intake Installation?
I attempted to install the bracket on my C&L street and noticed it did'nt line up very well so I left it off. I've had my C&L for about 6 months without the bracket, and have'nt had any problems. Snug as a bug in a rug.

I didn't use the bracket as well. No problems yet, everything is kosher.

i used the bracket, and there is no movement whatsoever from the intake. . .
i had to modify it just a bit so i could use the factory valve cover bolt. . .
i suggest using it if you can, you don't want much if any movement from the CAI, over time, a moving CAI could fall off or slip loose which is bad.

Mine has been installed w/o the bracket for 15 months, and it's still as tight as a virgin on her honeymoon.

I didn't use bracket either and no problems, I do check it about once a month to make sure everthing is tight.
