Default Whistling

Hey guys. When I accelerate from a stop, the car emmits this noticeable whistle, and I'm just wondering what it could be? Is it normal?

I think there have been other posts about whistling noise although I don't remember anybody figuring out what caused it. I here it when I get on my car occasionally too, but never had any problems so I don't worry much about it, maybe when I get close to my warranty running out I will ask dealer to look at it.

I'll say the same thing to you as I did the other guy. He just got done replacing his TB when it began for him. Check all your clamps for your intake track, make sure everything is tight and secure. If so get underneath the hood while someone is giving it alittle gas and see if you can find out what area it is coming from and at what RPM, maybe that will help us narrow it down.

I noticed this problem once or twice under heavy acceleration. I took it to the dealer, and they couldn't find anything. After I replaced the intake, I haven't heard it since.

My guess would probably be a small crack somewhere in the intake. Listen under the hood and see if the noise is coming from the intake.
