Default Check Engine light

Guys My check engine light came on last night[:'(]. My Tuner says it is obd test not complete(p1000) and it says O2 heater circiut bank 2(P0160 or something like this). What do they mean im going nuts, everytime i start the car they come back up even after i clear them. Thanx alot for the info guys.

Sounds like you have an open circuit on a oxygen sensor heating unit.

Check the connections to your oxygen sensors; they may be loose.

It could also be that the heater element in the oxygen sensor has failed as well and that means a new O2 sensor...

First the OBD test not complete (P1000) will never make a “check engine†light come on so your tuner is wrong.

I see in your signature you have headers and since the code you mention is the O2 heater bank I am suspecting you may have melted/shorted the wires going to one of your oxygen sensors and that will throw a code and continue to come back until repaired.

Check the wiring from you rear oxygen sensors (both sides) and see if they may have may have laid up against the headers.
