Default What to Order

Ok, the wife gave me the go ahead to order the 07 GT. So with that being said, I am looking at getting a Vista Blue Gt with the Auto transmission. What other Options would you get put on it? These of course have to come from Ford.

The Shaker 1000 is really nice if you're into music, although the subs eat up about 20% of the trunk [sm=icon_rock.gif]
I wanted the red interior but the dealer had one with black leather and everything else I wanted (at the right price) so driving it home that night won out.

Depends on what you want.

Here is what our has:

the options:

235/50/ZR18 TIRE
INTERIOR UPGRADE PACKAGE
CHARCOAL ALUMINUM PANEL
ACTIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM
SIRIUS SAT RADIO W/6 MOS SVC < rather not have this option
COMFORT GROUP
.HEATED SEATS
GT APPEARANCE PACKAGE
.ENGINE COVER WITH PONY EMBLEM
.BRIGHT ROLLED EXHAUST TIPS
.HOOD SCOOP
18" PREMIUM ALUMINUM WHEEL
PONY CENTER CAP

Only 2 options miossing is the side airbags ($400) and Shaker 1000 ($1300)

Audio experts told me stay away from the shaker systems, not worth the coin by any means.

I got our Stang for $28.600 X plan price, thats how loaded our stang is !!

After 600 miles, the car is worth ever penny !!

My only recommendation would be to get the optional 18" wheels. When I bought my 06 I was thinking there was no need for anything larger than 17's. After having it for almost a year, I wish I had gotten the 18's. They look a little better and at least fill up the wheel well a little more. I also got the optional side airbags. Well, I put a small scrub/scratch on the driver's seat. The local shop said they can not replace it because the airbag and the seat requiring special stitching (has to be a specific strength). But they won't touch it. So, safety is important, so take it for what it's worth. Enjoy!

Here's what options I'd recommend...

Interior Upgrade: Lots of nice features added with this, too many to list.
Comfort Package: Passenger power seat, heated seats. Very nice in cold climate.
Active Anti-Theft: I'm a computer security nut, so this just carried over to my car for me.
18" Premium Rims: Both styles look amazing on the car, your choice bullets of fanblades. I'm partial to fanblades.
Shaker 500/1000: If you get a Premium, you get the 500 allready which is plenty powerfull IMO. But you can get the 1000 at the expense of trunk space.

Heres the options I didn't get on mine and why...

Sirius Radio: I hate satelite radio, and I think its stupid to have to pay for radio.
GT Appearence: The engine cover and exhausts tips are nice but I think the hood scoop makes it look cheezy.
Shaker 1000: I wanted the trunk space, plus for $1000 I could probobly part together a better system.

I paid $27420 for mine, retail was something like $29700, A-Plan baby

there were 2 IUP's to choose from when i ordered mine, i got both. . . and man, the interior looks beautiful. . . red leather seats with chrome and carbon fiber on the dash. . . just sweet

18 inch wheels a must. . . i like my polished ones better than the fans (check sig for mine). . . other than that, i had my last car broken into once, i never want that to happen again, so i got the alarm system. . .

shaker 500 is plenty loud enough for me, and i used to be a stereo guru. . . :^) hope that helps

+1 With black06 on the Shaker 500. I love mine, whenever it is on, usually I like to listen to my engine/exhaust. One thing I would do over if I had a chance would be to order the spoiler delete option and then get the CDC ducktail.

ya, I would have not gotten the GT appearance package... I'm replacing it all anyway. New hood, new exhaust, supercharger.

I would have gotten the spoiler delete too... I'm replacing that anyway with a new cervini's kit.

I LOVE the shaker 500.

I don't think the seat heaters are actually everything I was hoping them to be. I thought they'd heat more than just the bottom of the seat. the bottom is nice, but the back too would have been great. Maybe I'm just pickey.

I didn't care about wheels when I got mine. I ended up with the 18s and I'm glad. Although I'll eventually replace them, I LOVE the look of them until I do, and they're worth a bit more when I do.

For me, I HAD to have the interior upgrade package. I actually didn't care about anything on the list for it too badly except the colored gauges and gauge package. However I love trip computers and knowing my stats on stuff. that's one upgrade for me that I didn't realize that I would have on the list until I knew what it was.

You can get your car for sure for only $1000 over dealer invoice. Call/email around. go on the Ford website and search dealers in your area. You can see exactly what they have in stock. Just call them up and tell them that you'll give them $500 over invoice for it and come down today to sign the papers. Maybe they'll counteroffer a little higher, maybe they'll take it. Shop at the end of the month if you can. They are all trying to hit numbers at that point.

Good Luck
