If you look at your rearend cover it says the axle ratio.

The 3.55 rear end gear did NOT come with all 05-06 GT with 5 speeds. It only came with the 05-06 GT COUPE with a 5 speed!!
The 05-06 VERT, 5 speed came with the 3.31 just like the auto verts. The 3.55 is a $100 option in the 07

no, all 5 speeds had 3.55s, and the option isnt worht it,id just have them riped out for 4.30s any ways

While on this topic, I picked up the 2007 Mustang brochure the other day. It still listed the 3.55s as though they were still standard with a 5 speed manual on the option pages in the back. I found this odd because not only does their website have the 3.55s as an option, but I own a 2007 5 speed manual GT with 3.31s.

I paid the $100 for the 3.55's on my 07. While I wish they would have offered 3.73's, I'm not swapping them out for 4.10's only to have to steep of a gear when I s/c her.
