Default New GT

Hey guys, i currently have a V6 that I paid 19,000 even for, but when priced in Edmunds of KBB it says i wouldnt lose that much on it, because its a 24,000 msrp car. Im workin my way for enough to get a GT since i love these cars, but looking online, it seems that used ones are not much cheaper then brand new ones, especially with incentives. I would love to get a Black on Black GT w/ a couple of options, and when i priced it, it came to 26,500. The ones I was looking at used on autotrader, were asking about that ammount, which is crazy. Does anyone else notice this?

I was going to get a used one until I saw how much people were asking for them. I'd rather pay a bit more and get a brand new one. One local dealer was asking 26k for an '05 used and 27k for a brand new '07. wouldn't budge on the used one. I left and bought new elsewhere.

that's the best thing about these GT's...resale value is through the roof and unmatched for any American car in production right now!

5 years from now rather than having a $5k car you will have a $15-$20k car :-D

I noticed that...that is why I bought one. I bought an '07 because it was priced the same as an '06... Thank you X-Plan.

I tried for an '06 but could not find one in a GT Premium 5speed. Actually I found one but it was lime which is not everyones favorite color but I could have looked past that. It was covered in BOSS decals which really turned me off. My car fanatic buddies all said it looked JC Whitney. After hearing that I just F-it and got an '07 in silver like I wanted in the first place. Havent looked back since.

Funny you should mention that. I just recently traded in my '05 GT for an '06 GT(this past August) and my new lady is looking into getting a new Mustang(probably a sixer). I did a web search and the dealership I bought my new '06 at is selling my '05 for about $500.00 more than I bought the '06 for(!) and it has 20,000 miles on it.......somebody is gonna take a bath(and it ain't us).

THe six is an excellent car, but since im obsessed, Im gonna upgrade to the GT. My dream one is
-black
-black interior
-5-speed
-18 inch black or chrome deep dish bullits
- and im REALLY turned on by either Borla or Magnaflow - the stock exhaust isnt quite as loud as I wanted.
