Default Picking up my new stang!!!!!!

After about 4 years without a stang i am picking up my new 07 GT Premium Convertable. Ive been on the car shwo scene and done all the car show thigns there are to do with my old Focus...so now that i am coming back to the Mustang, I wanted a few pointers and ideas. What kind of mods shoul di do for about 4-5000 dollars? I am not a racer so i really dont want a SC, but i do enjoy the sound from a new exhaust. I just cant decide if i should go Show or do more upgrades to the motor and drivetrain...

oh man...i'd say go motor. You've done the show thing, OR do a little of both, the list jay0heavenly gave seems pretty good. I'm not a big fan of in dash DVD player, kind of takes away from the retro, but to each their own. On another note, the headunit pretty much sucks (at least my shaker 500 has), so it could be worth it to upgrade. but i'd say a CAI and Tune, somekind of exhaust. There are many out there and everyone has their favorite. man...if you really want to blow the money, PM me and i can give you all the info you need on giving it to me hahahahaha

i agree with dumpweed. go for engine dress-up/performance more than anything else.

sure, you could get new rims and tires. that's fine. lower it slightly. all good. but please, PLEASE....don't rice it up. i know you have a want to since i bet that focus was the fast and the furious x10 but this is an american muscle car and it deserves some respect like that.

no altezza's please

X-pipe and H-pipe is how the dual exhaust connect to one another. Of course it looks like the shape of the letter. The reason for this is to distribute the flow of each exhaust equally when leaving the car. Hope this helps.

Don't go crutchfield!!!! They are waaaaaaaaaaaay overpriced. I bought mine from www.6ave.com and they work directly with the manufacturer so you will still get a warranty from the manufacturer AND you will save money. And they are a reputable seller and ship very fast.
